Word has gotten out that Choke Canyon Lodge can be more than just a place to stay while hunting, fishing or working in the Three Rivers, TX area. Our customers are now using our property as a “Venue” of sorts. We have recently hosted several weddings, wedding receptions, rehearsal dinner events, graduation parties, family reunions and baby/wedding showers. We didn’t realize our area was in need of a few more choices for this type of service.
My husband and I recently took advantage of this opportunity and held our daughter’s Wedding reception here at the Lodge. I was amazed at how our grounds transformed into a beautiful wedding venue. Our daughter told us that she had so many of the out of town guests ask her “Where did you find this amazing venue?” She just laughed and said “It’s my parents’ hunting and fishing lodge! Crazy. Right?”
One big bonus was that with 18 rooms and an 2 bedroom house located on the property, we were able to house the wedding party, out of town family and a few friends on site the entire weekend! It was so convenient and easy having all the key wedding people all in one location from beginning to end.
If you ever find yourself in need of a Venue in the Three Rivers area, you might just want to put us on your list. I think you might be quite surprised at all we have to offer. And at affordable prices too!
